Abstract: |
A second phase of evaluation was undertaken (the first phase having taken place in 1990) along the route of a proposed upgrade of the A36 from Codsford to Heytesbury following a change in the scale of the proposed scheme. Trenching of two areas proposed for infiltration ponds revealed two undated but possibly prehistoric ditches, whilst magnetometer survey identified no archaeologically significant features. [AIP] |
