Abstract: |
An archaeological desk-based assessment was undertaken in relation to the proposed replacement of the existing buildings with a new office building and Quaker meeting hall. The site was located in a priority archaeological area as defined by the Local Planning Authority. The archaeological potential of the site for all past periods of human activity was thought to be low. Cartographic evidence suggested that the site was not part of a former Quaker burial ground. Because of the sites low archaeological potential the proposed development was unlikely to have a significant archaeological impact. [Au(adp)] |
