Two machine-excavated trenches, located within the proposed footprint of new fuel storage tanks, at Upper Airfield Cam, revealed a shallow and apparently undisturbed natural soil sequence sealing hard chalk bedrock. No archaeological deposits or artefacts were revealed. [AIP] |
