Abstract: |
The Time Team Big Dig was undertaken within the village of Great Easton. The test pitting revealed evidence of occupation and settlement dating back to the late Roman through to the early Anglo-Saxon through cobbled surfaces and artefacts. Artefactual material included, late Iron Age and Anglo-Saxon pottery. Saxo-Norman and Medieval activity was also widespread throughout the village identified through artefacts and medieval plot boundaries. [Au(adp)] |
