Abstract: |
The defences were excavated across the site revealing topsoil, fill deposits over the sub-soil and natural. No Roman and Saxon archaeology was found. Cut into the subsoil along the northern part of the site were fill deposits resulting from the construction of a concrete culvert just to the north. [Au(abr)] |
