Abstract: |
A watching brief was held over the West Oxford Sewer Project. In the urban areas made ground, modern disturbance and alluvial clays were identified in the sections of those headshafts inspected. In the rural areas, topsoil directly overlaid alluvial deposits and natural; on Wolvercote Common, an SAM and an SSSI, deposits and disturbance associated with the creation of the railway were identified.
