Abstract: |
<summary>The well shaft, possibly of post-medieval date, was excavated out, and medieval flooring was lifted and re-laid on more stable foundations. The pavement consists of medieval glazed tiles and reflects the changing uses of the Consistory Court as well as changing Victorian attitudes towards the conservation and display of ancient floor materials. {italon}AIP{italoff}{spacea} |
