Abstract: |
Archaeological observation of 21 trial pits and 7 boreholes revealed the presence of the natural foreshore within the eastern part of the site, known to have been reclaimed in the later post-medieval period. A stone wall, probably a retaining wall, context 212, and post-medieval building foundations were also recorded. [Au(adp)] |
