Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out in two stages (March & August 1996) ahead of the construction of a housing estate. The additional excavation was required owing to the presence of medieval features and finds located in the March evaluation. A single medieval ditch, a possible trackway or hollow way and a post-medieval pit containing medieval worked stone were found, amongst other, later or undatable features. [AIP] |
