Abstract: |
A watching brief undertaken at Sulgrave Manor identified a series of field ditches; a pond with a possible associated watercourse; structural evidence of buildings, a possible 19th century courtyard and a mid-17th century stone-lined drain. The site yielded a substantial amount of archaeological features and deposits, providing information about the nature and function of Sulgrave Manor from potentially the 12th century onwards.
