Abstract: |
A desk-based assessment found that a number of hedgerows qualified as 'important' under Criterion 5(a) of the Hedgerow Regulations (1997). Although it was likely that the development of the garden centre and house would have destroyed any archaeological remains, it was considered that the remainder of the site had some archaeological potential.
