Abstract:
Watching briefs were carried out during the excavation of lift shafts at two adjacent properties, which had potential for medieval dumps and industrial waste. However, no archaeological deposits were encountered at either site. A 19th century clay pipe and redeposited oyster shells were found at 22-24 Cowper Street. [Au(adp)]
