Evaluation trenches were excavated at the site. The evaluation identified that the development area contained remains dating to the Iron Age, Roman, Saxo-Norman and medieval periods. In particular Iron Age settlement, agricultural and funerary activity, Roman settlement activity, non-specific Saxo-Norman activity and medieval settlement activity. [Au(abr)] |
