Abstract:
An archaeological watching brief was carried out in fulfilment of a condition imposed on the granting of planning approval for the conversion of a large barn into two dwellings. The watching brief monitored the excavation of foundation trenches, no deposits of archaeological significance were observed. A brief survey and description was also made of the standing barn. It was thought to be of late 18th to early 19th century date. [Au(abr)]
