Abstract: |
The site had the potential to contain prehistoric, Roman, medieval and post-medieval remains. It was considered likely that the construction of the existing buildings would have badly damaged, if not destroyed any archaeological remains that may have been present. Therefore, the archaeological potential of the site was considered to be low. The only element of the proposed development that entailed below ground disturbance was the possible excavation of a lift shaft. [Au(adp)] |
