Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was undertaken ahead of the development of a site upon which once stood one of the first purpose-built seaside resort hotels, built in 1775. The evaluation failed to locate any firm evidence for the position of the building although some undated features may have been related to the hotel. [AIP] |
