Abstract: |
An evaluation was carried out in an area thought to contain a possible banjo enclosure. Evidence of limited Bronze Age activity was recovered in the form of a probable field boundary ditch, a pit and a probable tree throw containing flint knapping waste. A prehistoric ditch and ditch terminal were also located. A Romano-British field system and marling pits were also encountered. Later activity comprised a post-medieval cart track. [Au(adp)] |
