Abstract: |
Archaeological monitoring and recording was undertaken of the ground reduction and excavation of foundation trenches for the construction of a new dwelling. Cutting the natural sub-soil was a series of thin linear features all running parallel with the adjacent road. There were several other isolated features within the footprint of the building which were filled with dark soil. Clearly within this dark soil could be seen fragments of bottle glass and other late post-medieval material. [Au(adp)] |
