Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was carried out during groundworks which involved lowering of the floors of rooms fronting Frogge Street. The building dated to the 16th century with some 17th century alterations. Earth floors, of uncertain date, were recorded in three rooms, beneath existing brick floors. No other archaeological features were visible. [Au(abr)] |
