An archaeological watching brief was carried out on the site. Roman finds were recovered, and a pit and stone drain were recorded. A quantity of debris associated with the site use as a World War II airfield was recovered and a pipeline was observed. An anti-aircraft incendiary, was removed by an army bomb disposal unit.
