Abstract:		 This report presented a preliminary summary of archaeological work associated with the construction of Phase 2A (Blocks A-D) of the St. Mildred's Tannery Development. Approximately ten percent of the pile positions were pre-augured and the cores recovered logged. Overall the evidence for Roman buildings proved much as expected on the basis of previous work though prompting a few minor revisions. A variety of archaeological features were located by test-pits, dating from the Roman to medieval periods. This included surfaces, walls, structures and trackways. Finds included a mid Anglo-Saxon bronze pin. [(Au(adp)]
