Abstract: |
The evaluation revealed dispersed areas of occupation on the site beginning in the prehistoric with middle Bronze Age features, but with an absence of Iron Age activity. Roman field ditches and boundaries, medieval ditches and post-medieval ditches/gullies/pits and post hole features were also encountered. All the features had been truncated by ploughing. A large Bronze Age flint scatter was also recorded. [Au(abr)] |
