Abstract: |
A mound near to Carperby, North Yorkshire, was investigated prior to possible partial destruction for the construction of an electricity regulator. A machine cut trench across the summit of the mound revealed no sign of subsurface human disturbance, though its use in stone clearance from the surrounding fields seemed likely. [Au] |
