Abstract: |
A desk-based assessment was carried out within the Great Bowden Conservation Area. Listed buildings were located within the vicinity of the site. It was considered that the site had a low to medium archaeological potential. The surviving stables and the riding house, although remodelled and repaired following bomb damage, were of local historical interest due to their connection with JH Stokes. [Au(adp)] |
