Abstract: |
A desk-top assessment of the proposed site of a church extension was undertaken. Palaeolithic and neolithic worked flints, Roman artefacts and early medieval pottery had been found in the vicinity of the site. Late medieval settlements had lain in the surrounding area. It was concluded that an evaluation should be carried out; a specification for this was provided. [AIP] |
