Abstract:
Observation of foundation trenches revealed no trace of the buildings of the outer court of Nuneaton Priory whose presence had been suggested by earlier evaluation trenches. It was concluded that the buildings must have lain just south of the hospital site. Some traces of a probable medieval yard surface were encountered.[AIP]
