Abstract: |
A fieldwalking and earthwork survey was carried out on the site of the proposed wind farm. The earliest phase identified related to Iron Age and Roman salt production, with briquetage been recovered from three areas of the site. Medieval and post-medieval occupation deposits were recovered from the former sites of two hamlets. The earthwork survey identified a medieval building platform and two 15th century building platforms. [Au(abr)] |
