Although the site held potential for the discovery of settlement evidence dating to the later prehistoric period, and one specific feature had been highlighted for investigation on the basis of aerial photographic evidence, no archaeological features of any significance were located. The site appeared to have been heavily disturbed in recent times. The evaluation was carried out in advance of the first phase of development at the aerodrome. [Au(adp)] |
