Summarises the known historical evidence and provides a survey of the medieval chapel of Kinley, Gloucestershire.

Discusses changes in administration between the Roman and Saxon periods.

Reports the identification of part of a cemetery near the south gate of Roman Gloucester. Two periods of burials were identified, possibly separated by the site being temporarily abandoned. A small change in the alignment of the Roman burials between the periods is noted.

Describes the hillfort's location, previous fieldwork and investigations conducted at the site, and some recent finds including: twenty-five sherds of pottery and nine daub fragments.

Reports the construction of a statue of Emperor Nerva in Gloucester. A stainless steel time-capsule containing various modern artefacts was positioned beneath the statue's plinth. Notes that during a 1968/69 excavation of the city's Roman forum, fragments of bronze from an equestrian statue were found.
