Records the excavation of a Romano-British field system at St James's car park. Two burials and pottery dating from between the first and third centuries AD were found.

Reports that the excavation of the site revealed various Iron Age features, including: a large rectilinear enclosure; a linear arrangement of at least seven roundhouses; another roundhouse further to the south-west; and a penannular ditched enclosure with a 20 metre diameter. A later trackway was found to cut east-west across the site. A Bronze Age cemetery containing up to five cremation burials was also located.
