Abstract
The Goldcliff Project, Wales, 1992
Martin G Bell
2 - 7
Further report from an intertidal site in the Severn estuary. Structures from the main peat shelf have been dated to the later first millennium BC. The rectangular structures appear unique in the British IA. There were few finds, no evidence of hearths and the purpose of the occupation is hazarded to have been seasonal grazing or fishing activity. There was evidence for a trackway leading to one of the structures, footprints and boat planks were also recovered.
