Abstract
Archaeology in the Environs of Roman York: Excavations 1976-2005
113 - 383
Results of some 50 excavations and watching briefs carried out by York Archaeological Trust are brought together in this important contribution to the study of the history and topography of the Roman settlement at York. The area covered, divided into 7 zones, is that outside the defences of the kegionary fortress and within a radius of c.3.5km from the city centre. With contributions by R.A. Hall and D.T. Evans.
