The four key objectives are given as: to encourage new uses for this under-utilised archaeological heritage; to explore the interpretative potential of this archaeological heritage, integrating both an archaeological and artistic perspective; to facilitate the active involvement of existing and new audiences in the interpretation process; to explore together the contemporary relevance and meaning of the archaeological heritage in museums.
