Abstract: |
Reports on minor sites excavated in York (RB, Anglo-Scandinavian, and med levels) and on the substantial Roman ?bath house on the Queen's Hotel site (Micklegate/ Fetter Lane). An Anglian ditch on Fishergate yielded a hexagonal bead which proved to be emerald, worn and chipped. Med plant-holders in ceramic are also described. |
