Abstract: |
A survey which produced ground plans of three caves on Arran, which contain stone structures of uncertain date or function and rock carvings. The latter include ogham script and a cross, suggesting use of the caves by early Christian voyager hermits. A Norse carving is also present and Bronze Age occupation of the caves is thought likely. |
