Abstract: |
A further survey of the site (see also 94/1185) has extended the plan of the caves to include additional features in front of them and along the edge of the beach. These features include a relatively recent stone retaining wall. Some extra features are also noted within the previously recorded area. It is observed that visitors have been using the caves, and an assessment is made of any damage to the early medieval rock carvings and to various stone structures. |
