Dendrochronological analysis of samples from nine oak timbers of the Keep of Walmer Castle, Walmer, Kent, resulted in the production of a single site chronology consisting of six samples. This site chronology was dated as spanning the period AD~1396--1523 and as giving a felling date in the range AD~1535--55. |
