Abstract
The Piercebridge (Co Durham) hoard of mid-3rd century Antoniniani and a note on Elmer 593 (Postumus)
P John Casey
R Coult
72 - 76
Issues from a hoard of 130 coins terminate in 262 except one coin dated by Elmer to 268 which is therefore probably to be redated to 262 (with consequent repercussions for other issues between 262 and 268). Some chemical analyses are also reported.

Bourne End Hertfordshire find (1976)
Andrew M Burnett
77 - 78
TL 019063. The forty coins run from Claudius I to Victorinus but are mainly sestertii of 2nd century with a few from 3rd. The hoard confirms the evidence of the Gare (Cornwall) hoard for the continuing circulation of sestertii until c 270.
