Abstract
Changes in bones of prehistoric populations caused by environmental influence
Jaroslav Jambor
55 - 60
A model of the interaction of bones and environment has been worked out, and with its help the content of a number of elements connected with the degree of contamination was tested. The elements chosen were: calcium, strontium, sodium, potassium, lithium, cobalt, titanium, silver, zinc, copper, nickel, vanadium, chromium, lead, and manganese. The ageing of bones takes place very unevenly, but from the proportional presence of some elements the degree of contamination of each sample can be determined. Au(abr)
