Notes the excavation of seven male burials. Analysis of the skeletons revealed that all had several health problems. It is suggested that these are the remains of Franciscan friars from Aberdeen Greyfriars.

Reports the lifting of a large sandstone slab revealed during excavations of a Neolithic henge in 2008. This was revealed to be covering a cist burial with rich grave goods. The skeleton did not survive.
