Abstract:		 In response to a condition on the planning permission associated with building works at the Edmonton Sports and Social Club, Church Street, Edmonton, the Heritage Network was commissioned by Aran Construction (London) Ltd to undertake the archaeological monitoring of the groundworks. The fieldwork revealed no significant archaeological features or deposits, and no artefacts predating the 19th century. The lack of archaeological remains suggests that any archaeological activity on the site predating the 19th century was ephemeral, leaving little or no archaeolgical trace.
