Abstract: |
Birmingham Archaeology carried out a desk based assessment of land along the course of Cinderford Pipe Bridge, in th Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire. Thew work was commissioned by Severn Trent Water in order to highlight the archaeological implictions of the proposd rehabilitation of the pipeline. The assessment revealed an area that succinctly exhibits the development of railway transport in the Forest of Dean area alond with a variety of industrial and transport industries. |
