Abstract:		 Archaeological excavation in advance of the construction of a new 120 bed dormitory at RAF Lakenheath identified sequences of ditches, occasional pits and a possible hearth. However more than half the area had been destroyed by previous development which in conjunction with an absence of reliable dating evidence for the features, made it almost impossible to interpret the site.
