Abstract: |
A limited archaeological evaluation at Snells Garage, Ballingdon Hill, Sudbury, prior to redevelopment, did not locate any evidence of the medieval Chapel of Ballingdon, that is believed to lie in the vicinity. A documentary search indicated that the Chapel was not, as previously believed, dedicated to St Thomas the Martyr. |
