Abstract: |
Geophysical surveys were conducted in 2007 in advance of a planning application for a wind farm and associated infrastructure at Haswell, County Durham (CNGR: NZ 4365 5431). Previous archaeological work had suggested that the site had potential prehistoric remains. The survey identified a number of anomalies possibly reflecting archaeological features. Two of these anomalies probably represent former field boundaries and other anomalies may represent traces of ridge and furrow. |
