Abstract:		 An Archaeological watching brief was undertaken by ULAS on behalf of De Montfort University in conjunction with the excavation of eleven trial pits by White Young Green consultants for ground investigation purposes at Duns Lane, Leicester ( SK 5803 0416). The watching brief identified limited evidence of Roman archaeological deposits surviving in the north- west corner of the site approximately 1.6m below ground level. The site archive will be held by Leicester City Museum Accession number A5 2005.
