Abstract: |
John Moore Heritage Services undertook an archaeological watching brief between the 8th-9th June 2009 as part of a planning application at Ivydene, High Street, South Newington near Banbury. The work revealed part of the remnants of a former cottage, including the remains of a fireplace and flooring whose walls were incorporated into part of the property boundary for Ivydene Cottage. An associated well was also uncovered beyond the rear of the former property. |
