Abstract:		 John Moore Heritage Services conducted an archaeological evaluation by two trenches on land associated with Units 1 and 2 of the Woolgate Shopping Centre, Witney, Oxfordshire between the 7th- 9th July 2009. The evaluation revealed a 19th century building as well as a late post-medieval pit and several services. No earlier features were identified.
