Abstract: |
December 2007. Oxford Archaeology carried out an archaeological watching brief at St Mary the Virgin Church, Long Crendon. The watching brief revealed 15 inhumations aligned west - east and a quantity of charnal. Little dating evidence was recovered from these burials, although the few coffin fittings received were 18-19th century in date. No evidence for earlier church structures was observed. |
