Abstract: |
Archaeological trial trenching and monitoring took place prior to and during the construction of a large drainage ditch and a flood storage area alongside the Granta branch of the river Cam at Haslingfield, Cambridgeshire. The archaeological work detected palaeoenvironmental remains and river-related features but no archaeological features or finds. The palaeoenvironmental remains were only poorly to moderately preserved and have not been dated. |
